Discernment is the ability to distinguish the mind of God from the things of the enemy. If we are going to walk in Godly wisdom we must be able to tell the difference between the wisdom that comes from above and the wisdom that comes from beneath. This begins with a genuine wisdom heart posture. The attitude that we project before wisdom is given or received determines our ability to properly differentiate where the wisdom is being released from. There are characteristics of Godly wisdom that clearly distinguishes it from the wisdom of man. These characteristics are found in God’s Word, and we must search the Scriptures to know and recognize them continually.
