The Word of God tells us that Adam “knew” Eve and “the two became one flesh.” This is the true meaning of and God’s original intention for soul ties. It also tells us that “Jonathan’s soul was knitted to David’s” and that he loved David like he loved himself, so we can clearly see that there are positive soul ties as well as negative soul ties. Unfortunately, too many of us in the body of Christ fall into ungodly soul ties that the Father has not ordained for our lives, and have the potential to halt or cause destruction to our lives & his divine purpose for us. Every connection and covenant we come into must be ordained and orchestrated by God, and we must carefully seek His mind before establishing covenant agreements.
