The most important and most valued thing to God in our relationship to Him is obedience. The entire Gospel is built on this principle. You and I are partakers of the kingdom of God as a result of the obedience of His Son Jesus Christ, and as Jesus lived a life of obedience to the Father He expects us to do the same. Our obedience or disobedience to the instructions of God contributes to either our advancement or stagnation in life. The Father tells us in His Word what we can expect if we walk in diligent obedience to Him, and also what we can expect if we don’t. It is imperative that we hearken our ears and direct our hearts to every instruction of God to see His perfect will show forth in our lives.
