There are several accounts in the Word where men and women of God called for and established a consecration, and in these accounts, God manifested Himself and produced a God result on their behalf. Jehoshaphat called for a fast and God gave them victory, Esther called for a fast and the children of Israel were saved, but there are specific things that must be established in every consecration for us to see breakthrough manifested. A consecration is an act of setting one’s self aside from our ordinary activities and devoting ourselves to those things that are sacred. As we venture into our own personal or any corporate consecration we must be careful to focus our minds and hearts from those things that will distract to that which is valuable to God.
